Kanola Band brings together some of the most experienced and diverse musicians in the midwest US jazz scene to pay tribute to the great music and heritage of New Orleans. Dipping into the city's diverse musical history including traditional Dixieland, groovin' zydeco, soulful R&B to blasting brass band second lines, audiences of all ages will leave feeling just a bit happier than when they came. Bring your dancing shoes, leave your worries behind and be ready for some fun, because Kanola Band is always a good time!

Their first album, "KaNola" (debuting Summer 2020) is Kanola Band at their best in their natural habitat - live on the stage in front of a packed house. The music, full of joy and excitement, drips New Orlean’s excitement and groove from its first notes. Including the classics “When the Saints Go Marching In”, the brass band cornerstone “Do Watcha Wanna” and even Fats Waller’s hit “I’m Walkin’”, this debut album is a true celebration. Make way as Kanola Band second lines their way into the world!

Kanola Band is available for both performance and educational residencies. They are currently booking tour dates throughout the United States in 2020-2021.
